Vice President Kashim Shettima has announced that women will be at the forefront of Africa’s anticipated $29 trillion economic transformation.

Speaking at the 2025 Gender Inclusion Conference in Abuja, Shettima emphasized that gender inclusion is a fundamental pillar of Nigeria’s national development agenda. He unveiled Project #SheIsIncluded, aiming to bridge gender gaps in finance and the broader economy.

The initiative focuses on four key areas: education and financial literacy, maternal healthcare, gender-sensitive policies, and expanded economic opportunities for women. The project plans to reach all 774 local government areas across Nigeria to ensure comprehensive inclusion.
