An Ado-Ekiti magistrate’s court has granted activist Dele Farotimi bail under strict conditions, including a N30 million deposit, two sureties with significant assets, and the submission of his passport.

Farotimi, detained earlier this month following a defamation complaint by Babalola, appeared in court on Friday under heavy security. The bail decision was reached swiftly after proceedings commenced.
