Nigeria is set to revolutionize its transportation sector with the introduction of a Lagos-Abuja bullet train, expected to significantly cut travel time to just three hours. The high-speed rail project, which aims to enhance connectivity, boost economic growth, and ease road congestion, is a major step towards modernizing the country’s rail infrastructure.
According to officials, the train will provide a faster, safer, and more efficient alternative to road and air travel between Nigeria’s commercial and political capitals.
