Designed by creative director Abanobi Emmanuel Ifechukwu and crafted by @princeglam_empire and @_modelacouture_agency, the outfit was painstakingly adorned with over 10,000 coral pearls, cowrie shells, stones, feathers, and raffia. Each element reflects Nigeria’s identity as a melting pot of diverse cultures.
The headpiece, towering and regal, symbolizes authority and a deep connection to ancestors. Coral beads in the costume represent unity, prosperity, courage, and resilience, while the stones and shells symbolize wealth and a connection to the earth. The raffia evokes the land’s deep roots, and the staff Chidimma carried embodies wisdom and leadership. 
“This costume speaks to Nigeria’s essence,” Ifechukwu shared. “It reminds us that no matter our differences, our strength is greater when we stand together. Chidimma’s poise and grace brought this vision to life beautifully.”
The Njikoka costume not only honors Nigeria’s diverse cultural heritage but also carries a message of global significance: the power of unity in diversity.
