In Mexico, on November 16th, Chidimma stunned the world by becoming the first runner-up in the 73rd Miss Universe competition, marking a historic moment for Nigeria and Africa.
Chidimma’s victory went beyond her runner-up position; she was crowned Miss Universe Africa and Oceania, making her the first African woman to earn this title since 2001.
