Cassava Technologies and Sand Technologies have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance the delivery of AI solutions and GPU-as-a-service (GPUaas) across the African continent, to make AI solutions more accessible to African businesses. Cassava Technologies is an African Legacy global technology leader, and Sands Technologies is an AI solutions enterprise and a key player in Africa’s emerging artificial intelligence (AI) ecosystem.

Sands Technologies has chosen to align with Cassava’s vision of enabling AI development and innovation in Africa. This visionary partnership was announced at the Global AI Summit on Africa in Kigali, Rwanda. Sands Technologies plans on utilizing Cassava’s advanced NVIDIA-powered GPU capabilities to build and deploy AI solutions,  Both partners will explore pilot use cases and work together to co-create and distribute AI-powered solutions that make use of GPUs as part of their shared commitment to Africa’s digital future.
