Nigerian music icon Innocent ‘2Baba’ Idibia has proposed to Edo State lawmaker Natasha Osawaru, following his recent separation from his wife, Annie Macaulay. The proposal took place on February 13, 2025, during a gathering with friends, where 2Baba presented a ring to Ms. Osawaru amidst celebrations.
Ms. Osawaru, 30, serves as the Deputy Majority Leader of the Edo State House of Assembly and holds a Master’s degree in Film Production from Full Sail University in the United States.
This development comes shortly after 2Baba announced his separation from Annie Macaulay, his wife of 12 years, with whom he shares two daughters. The singer has publicly expressed his affection for Ms. Osawaru, stating his intention to marry her.
