Ademola Lookman, Barbra Banda, and Ronwen Williams emerged as the standout winners at the 2024 Confederation of African Football (CAF) Awards held in Marrakech, Morocco, on Monday.
The prestigious ceremony celebrated the top African football talents and achievements of the year.
Nigerian forward Ademola Lookman, who plays for Atalanta, clinched the CAF Player of the Year (Men) award, while Zambia’s Barbra Banda, representing Orlando Pride, was crowned CAF Player of the Year (Women). 
South African goalkeeper Ronwen Williams, of Mamelodi Sundowns, took home the CAF Goalkeeper of the Year (Men) title.
Other notable awardees included Nigeria’s Chiamaka Nnadozie as CAF Goalkeeper of the Year (Women) and Senegal’s Lamine Camara, who won CAF Young Player of the Year (Men).
